Noisemaker

A noisemaker was a festive item whose purpose was to create cacophony during a holiday.

In 2371, Keiko O'Brien asked Miles O'Brien whether the traditional celebration of "I'm Married to the Most Wonderful Woman in the Galaxy Day" involved noisemakers. (DS9: "The House of Quark")
