Nimbus

Nimbus was an inhabited planetary system in the Beta Quadrant. Located in a minor quadrant, this system was found inside the Federation-Romulan border.

This was a single star system with a yellow-white primary.

In this system, there were at least three planets, including Nimbus III, which was colloquially called the "planet of galactic peace". (Star Trek V: The Final Frontier; PIC: "Disengage")

Stellar cartography

In 2401, this system's position was labeled on a star chart used by Captain William T. Riker during his attempt at finding the last known location of the SS Eleos XII. (PIC: "The Next Generation")

This star system was only mentioned in writing.
In the episode "Disengage", the location of this star system was seen on the bridge of the SS Eleos XII on what appears to be an updated chart from Star Trek: Star Charts. Dave Blass published pictures of the set on his website.
In the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 66) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Stellar Cartography", pp. 18-19; "Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385”), the system's primary was classified as a F-class star.
