Nicole Treston Abranian
Nicole Treston Abranian is an assistant director, who worked on 2009's Star Trek as part of the Directors Guild-Producer Training Plan. She was part of the Training Plan's class of 2006, as was her fellow Star Trek DGA trainee Lauren Pasternack. She is an alumni of the University of California at Los Angeles. She was born in Glendale, California.
Before joining the DGA training program, Abranian was an office production assistant on S.W.A.T. (2003, featuring Reg E. Cathey and Bruce Gray) and a set staff assistant on Starsky & Hutch (2004, starring Fred Williamson). She then worked as a production assistant on When a Stranger Calls (2006).
As a DGA trainee, Abranian has participated in the production of Gilmore Girls, Criminal Minds, and Saving Grace, and All About Steve (2009). After graduating from the DGA program, she worked as second assistant director on Community, Blunt Talk (starring Patrick Stewart), and Superstore. More recently, she worked as first assistant director on the shows Heathers, Teachers, Everything's Gonna Be Okay, and The Goldbergs.
