Neurotropan was a drug used to treat patients with synaptic failure.

In 2375, within a mental simulation created by the multitronic engrammatic interpreter, Dr. Julian Bashir administered fifteen milligrams of neurotropan to Luther Sloan when his neurosynaptic activity began to fail. (DS9: "Extreme Measures")
