Neuro-optic interceptor

Neuro-optic interceptor

A neuro-optic interceptor

The neuro-optic interceptor was a device used by Supervisors. It could hijack the synaptic pathways of nearby individuals, allowing a Supervisor to use their bodies as "hosts" to interact with others remotely; during this process, the host's eyes became solid white. The device could also use these pathways to access a subject's subconscious, akin to a mind meld.

In 2024, Tallinn used her neuro-optic interceptor to briefly control several Humans and use them to guide Jean-Luc Picard to her without revealing herself. Later, she proposed to use the device to enter a comatose Picard's mind, so as to find and alleviate the psychological issue preventing him from regaining consciousness. (PIC: "Watcher", "Two of One")
