Nerf
Nerf is a brand of toy dart guns, or "blasters," owned by Hasbro. A sub-line known as Nerf LMTD has produced many cross-promotional releases with other brands, including Star Trek.

On 7 September 2022, Hasbro announced that the company would be producing Nerf toys based on the Star Trek license for release in November 2023. [1]
A single set of two blasters, known as the "Star Trek Starfleet Type 3 and Type 2 Phaser Blasters," has been released under the Nerf LMTD sub-line. The Type 3 phaser, modeled after those used in Star Trek: First Contact, is semi-automatic, with a capacity for five darts, features lights and sounds powered by four "AA" batteries and has a partially-assimilated exterior with Borg accents. The Type 2 phaser is modeled after the curved-handled prop seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation, and features a slide-pull single-fire mechanism with a capacity for one. Neither phaser blaster comes in a paint deco accurate to their Star Trek equivalents due to safety regulations on colorations for toy guns. Both are instead primarily painted white, with blue and green accents, and obligatory orange safety tips. The set includes seven Nerf darts.
