A Mynh'ta Orb was a tool used to monitor Trill isoboramine levels while communing in the symbiont pools of the Caves of Mak'ala. When the individual entered the pool, the orb was set afloat and activated, glowing blue.

In 3189, Guardian Xi used a Mynh'ta Orb to monitor Adira Tal's isoboramine levels while they entered the symbiont pools. The Orb began to shatter to indicate Tal was in increasing danger. (DIS: "Forget Me Not")
