Mutual admiration society
A mutual admiration society was a colloquial term for two or more people who praised each other's good qualities, usually employed as a jest.
In 2268, after hearing Montgomery Scott, Leonard McCoy, and Spock each attribute the successful relocation of the tribbles that had overtaken USS Enterprise to each other, James T. Kirk pressed the issue, saying, "Gentlemen, I don't want to interrupt this mutual admiration society, but I'd like to know where the tribbles are." (TOS: "The Trouble with Tribbles")
