Zaran

Zaran, also known as Mu Capricorni, was a single star system in the Alpha Quadrant. (PIC: "Disengage")

The Zaran system was visible from Earth in the constellation Capricornus. It was approximately 87 light years from Sol.

In 2259, the position of this star system was seen on Federation star charts on the USS Enterprise's ready room viewscreen. (SNW: "A Quality of Mercy")

In 3191, the system's location was labeled in a star chart. (DIS: "Red Directive")
