Mountain man

A mountain man was a male who lived in a mountainous region.

In 2373, Enrique Muniz teasingly referred to Miles O'Brien as an old mountain man, prompting the chief engineer to joke that Muniz was due for a transfer and suggesting waste extraction as a possibility. (DS9: "The Ship")
