Morgan Kohan
Morgan Kohan (born 30 December 1993; age 31) is an actress who played the Orion weapons trader in the Star Trek: Discovery first season episode "Will You Take My Hand?".
Born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, Kohan was an aspiring dancer in her teens, but turned to acting when she was accepted into the Triple Threat Program at Randolph Academy in Toronto. During her education, she appeared in the stage productions Procne, If We Were Birds, and Legally Blonde: The Musical, and worked as dance double in the series Warehouse 13, which co-starred Saul Rubinek. She started her television acting career in 2014 and appeared in guest roles on shows like Contingency, Murdoch Mysteries (directed by Leslie Hope), Kim's Convenience, Ransom (starring Nazneen Contractor), Batwoman, and Transplant (with Atticus Mitchell).
She is best known for her starring role in When Hope Calls (2019, with Hanneke Talbot, Sean Connolly Affleck, and Adam Winlove-Smith). She also starred in the 2019 horror film Jade's Asylum and co-starred in the 2020 films The Marijuana Conspiracy (with Marie Ward and Derek McGrath) and Kitty Mammas (with Helene Robbie, Stephanie Belding, Ellora Patnaik, Billy MacLellan, and Zarrin Darnell-Martin).
Also in 2020, she starred in the romantic TV movie Love on Harbor Island (with Shawn Ahmed), followed by the TV movies A Romance Wedding and A Whirlwind Wedding in 2021. In 2023, she starred in Sullivan's Crossing.
