Mentioned in a scene that ultimately didn't wind up in the final version of TNG: "The Price", Mitzi was a girlfriend of Miles O'Brien, whom he discussed with Deanna Troi during a counseling session.

According to Miles, Mitzi didn't understand that he was already married to his job, and while he didn't think he was ready for two marriages, he was reluctant to break up with her. Deanna then suggested that he bring her to a future session.
