Misty

Misty was a song that William T. Riker was unable to perfect on the trombone.

In 2367, he attempted to play Misty on his birthday, but slipped up, prompting Geordi La Forge to remark that Riker had until his next birthday to get it right.

In a holographic simulation created by Barash, sixteen years later (2383), Riker still couldn't get the song right, which caused him to express his annoyance. "Jean-Luc Riker" noted that he always made the same mistake. (TNG: "Future Imperfect")
