Mission log, Gabrielle Burnham
Spock provides Burnham with her mother's mission logs
The mission log of Dr. Gabrielle Burnham was a series of 841 video entries kept by Dr. Gabrielle Burnham chronicling her experiences time traveling with the red angel suit, watching her daughter Michael Burnham grow up from afar, and attempting to prevent the Sphere data from getting into the hands of Control. The logs were recorded by the suit and two mission log drones, and saved to a data module within the suit.
In 2257 when the Dr. Burnham, as the Red Angel, came to rescue Michael Burnham at Essof IV, Lieutenant Paul Stamets and Ensign Sylvia Tilly were able to download the logs, which Spock provided to Michael to view. (DIS: "Perpetual Infinity")
Burnham believed from viewing the logs that she had figured out how to navigate the suit, when the crew of the USS Discovery attempted to created a replica. (DIS: "Such Sweet Sorrow")

Dr. Burnham on Earth of the distant future
- "…Antimatter detonation across the galaxy indicates Control wiped everything out: Vulcan, Andoria, Tellar Prime, Deneva, Earth. This, is Earth. As far as I scan, everywhere, I'm alone."
- "…I've built myself a home base on a class M planet 50,000 light years away. Wherever I jump, the suit will always return me. Right back here. No preexisting technology, so Control can't find me here. I'm safe for now. But Einstein couldn't have been more right. Time's motion depends on the observer. On the action. The people I was able to move from Earth to Terralysium, as they call my planet, are thriving. Their survival means that time is fluid. The future can be changed. Maybe the past as well. I have to believe I'll see you again, my sweetheart."
- "Mission log, 271: Spock can understand me. I jumped back into his childhood and warned him about Michael dying in the forest. I haven't been able to communicate with anyone else… Spock's Vulcan training and Human emotion seem to give him the psychological bounds to comprehend my existence. His dyslexia allows him to process the effects of temporal dysplasia. In all of time, Spock may be the only person that can help me."
- "Mission log, 799: No matter what I do, I can't stop Control from getting the sphere data. I even tried destroying the sphere, but it's impossible. I taught my child never to despair, but if I can't change this one thing, the only thing I an think of now is to undo it's gravitational binding and put the sphere in Discovery's path, in the hopes that they'll find a way to keep the data safe."
- "…When the timestorm passes, I'll come back for you baby girl. For you and your father. I promise."
