Minstrel Books was a publishing company that focused on children's and young adult books. It was a subsidiary of Pocket Books and Simon & Schuster and in 2003 was merged into Aladdin Paperbacks.

During their existence, they produced a number of Star Trek novels including production on the entire Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series in the 1990s, which included the Star Trek: The Original Series - Starfleet Academy, Star Trek: The Next Generation - Starfleet Academy, and Star Trek: Voyager - Starfleet Academy sub-series. They provided the same role on the Deep Space Nine young adult series.

All of the books in these series were produced by Minstrel, but ultimately published under the Pocket Books imprint.

The young adult version of the Star Trek Generations novelization was also published under the Minstrel Books imprint.
