Minos Korva (planet)

Minos Korva was an inhabited M-class planet in the Minos Korva system. This system was located in Sector 21527 of the Alpha Quadrant.

This planet was discovered on stardate 20483 by the Federation starship Exeter. This planet was located in the habitable zone of its primary. At the time of the discovery, the planet was uninhabited. By 2369, this planet had been colonized by the Federation. (TNG-R: "Chain Of Command, Part II")

This planet was only mentioned in writing.
This planet's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of its star system as seen in the star chart appearing in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Maps and Legends".
In the script for "Chain of Command, Part II", the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 2, p. 43, and the Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"), the planet was named Minos Korva. Furthermore, in the script, it was stated that the planet had a population of 200 million in 2369. This planet is listed in the Star Trek: Star Charts as being a Federation member in 2378.
