Minimalism was am aesthetic style characterized by its lack of complexity.

In 2364, Kosinski described going in a straight line as "perhaps even innovative in a minimalist way". (TNG: "Where No One Has Gone Before")

In 2365, K'Ehleyr described Worf as "the perfect Klingon. The ultimate minimalist." (TNG: "The Emissary")
