Mensa

Mensa (Latin for table) was a constellation visible from Earth's southern hemisphere. Astronomical objects in this constellation were located in the Beta Quadrant. (ENT: "Home")

The name of this constellation was derived from Alpha Mensae's Bayer designation. In Bayer designation, the name begins with a Greek letter followed by a genitive of the constellation's name.
This constellation was named after Table Mountain in South Africa.
