Mendrick

Mendrick was a telepathic Dulainian baby who served as one of the three co-leaders of the planet Dulaine in the late 24th century, alongside Volcanic Lord Morgo and 355.

In 2381, Mendrick and 355 convened inside Morgo's crater, where Lieutenant Commander Andy Billups and Ensign Sam Rutherford from the USS Cerritos were to be sacrificed for the offense of entering a sacred hall with covered belly buttons. Mendrick was incensed at Commander Jack Ransom questioning their system of governance, and ordered Billups and Rutherford thrown into the lava. However, he was subsequently impressed by Ransom's revealed physique and, declaring him wise, agreed to listen to his parley. (LD: "The Least Dangerous Game")
