An Amerind medicine badge

The medicine badge was a badge adorned to a headband which was worn by the medicine chief of the Amerind inhabitants.

In 2268, Captain James T. Kirk was given Salish's medicine badge after performing CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on a boy and successfully reviving him. (TOS: "The Paradise Syndrome")
