Maulik Pancholy (born 18 January 1974; age 51) is the actor who played Nambue in the Star Trek: Discovery first season episode "The Vulcan Hello". He is best known for playing Jonathan – Jack Donaghy's assistant – on the NBC's 30 Rock. He has also appeared in Weeds, Hitch, Phineas and Ferb, The Good Wife, and Sanjay and Craig.

From 2014 to 2017, Pancholy served on the Presidential Advisory Commission on Asian American and Pacific Islanders. [1]
