Materialization subroutine

The materialization subroutine was a type of subroutine in replicators.

In 2369, the activated aphasia device entered an anomalous code sequence into the materialization subroutine of a replicator on Deep Space 9, which inserted the aphasia virus into the replicated food directly at the molecular level. (DS9: "Babel")
