Marie Caldare
Marie Caldare is an actress who played Azen in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Virtuoso". Her costume from this episode was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1](X)
She was born in British Guyana and has dual American/Canadian citizenship. She studied in New York before moving to Los Angeles.
Caldare has guest starred on such television series as Quantum Leap (1990, starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell), V.I.P. (1999, with Lisa LoCicero, Derek Mears, Faith Minton, and Karen Sheperd), NYPD Blue (2000, starring Gordon Clapp, with Rino Romano and Richard Libertini), The King of Queens (2000), and One on One (2001, with Ron Canada). She was also seen on What About Brian in 2006, with Charles Emmett and Alex Nevil. This series was executive produced by J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk and produced by Robert Duncan McNeill.
Caldare was one of the stars of Tender Loving Care (1997). She has also appeared in feature films such as The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit (1998, with Clifton Collins, Jr. and Gregory Sierra) and In Her Shoes (2005, with Norman Lloyd).
She co-starred in Play the Game (2009, with Clint Howard, Betty McGuire, Jack Guzman, Eve H. Brenner, Breon Gorman, and Donald Sage Mackay) and had a recurring role as Lila Dash in four fifth season episodes of Desperate Housewives (2008-2009, with Teri Hatcher, Brenda Strong, Neal McDonough, Kevin Rahm, Thomas Kopache, Christopher Shea, Tami-Adrian George, and Billy Mayo and directed by Larry Shaw in the first two episodes).
She later guest starred in episodes of Glee (2009, with Victor Garber and Gregory Hinton), Newsreaders (2015), and How to Get Away with Murder (2015, with Billy Brown and Michael McGrady).
