A margarita was a green cocktail of Mexican origin.

It was made with a mixture of tequila, orange liquor, and lime juice.

It was customary to drink this beverage with salt sprinkled along the rim of the drinking glass.

On the USS Cerritos, the crew on the lower decks often replicated and drank margaritas during buffer time. (LD: "Temporal Edict")
