Marcelo Tubert (born 11 February 1952; age 73) is the actor who portrayed Acost Jared in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "Devil's Due" and Mr. Alvarez in the Star Trek: Picard second season episode "Assimilation".

He has appeared in many other television shows, as well as movies and video games. In 1989, he appeared in Hardball directed by Larry Shaw, with Harvey Jason, Megan Parlen, and Valerie Wildman. In 2001, Tubert lent his voice to the video game Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge (with Michael Bell, Hamilton Camp, Phil Morris, Keith Szarabajka, and Marc Worden). Later that year, Tubert appeared on ER (starring Eriq La Salle, with Michelle C. Bonilla, James Cromwell, Lily Mariye, Amy Wheaton, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, David Richards and Michael McGrady).

In 2004, he had a recurring role on The West Wing, starring Martin Sheen, with Gary Cole and Star Trek: Enterprise guest star Steven Culp.

In 2006 he provided voice talent for Over the Hedge, also starring William Shatner.
