Maintenance note

A maintenance note was a short log regarding maintenance of technology.

In 1969, frustrated with his amorous recording computer, James T. Kirk recorded the following maintenance note: "My recording computer has a serious malfunction. Recommend it either be corrected or scrapped." (TOS: "Tomorrow is Yesterday")
