Magic carpet

According to Earth legends, a magic carpet was a carpet imbued with magical powers that rendered it capable of flight, allowing one to ride around on it.

In 2063, Zefram Cochrane, who was about to make his first warp spaceflight, listened to a song that had the lyrics "Why don't you come with me little girl, on a magic carpet ride." (Star Trek: First Contact)
