Made man

A made man was a status within the 20th century American mob on Earth.

As such, the term was referenced in the Vic Fontaine holoprogram, in particular during a jack-in-the-box subroutine in which one Frankie Eyes took over the casino. After the subroutine sprang into action, Vic explained to the participants that it would be unwise to counter Frankie because he was a made man. (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang")

An alternative term is "Wise Guy", which by way of in-joke was also the name of an admiral mentioned on a cut okudagram.
