Lunaport was a Federation spaceport associated with Earth's moon, Luna.

During the mid-22nd century, Starfleet operated an EV simulator at Lunaport. It was popularly known as "the Vomitorium" in Starfleet circles. (ENT: "The Catwalk")

In an alternate timeline, Amanda Grayson, mother of Spock, died in a shuttle accident at Lunaport in 2237. (TAS: "Yesteryear")

Background information

The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 490 identified Lunaport as a Starfleet facility.

In the Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 38), Lunaport was identified as an orbital facility.

Apocrypha

In The Worlds of the Federation (p. 16), Lunaport was referred to as "the Federation's fifth largest city." The book subsequently commented, "[It] is extensively populated with citizens from across the UFP. This underground city is unsurpassed for recreational facilities, transportation systems, and lodging."
