Lortian

The Lortians were a species that had an egg sac as part of their physiology.

After they stopped fighting each other, Lieutenant Brinson mentions to Ensign Mariner that on their second date, Boimler "shook hands" with a Lortian's egg sac. Then they both began to laugh at Boimler's many misadventures. (LD: "Cupid's Errant Arrow")
