Liver damage

Liver damage was a medical condition affecting the liver.

It was a fatal condition in the 1990s on Earth, but easily curable by 2364. One of the cryogenically frozen Humans stored on the SS Birdseye suffered from extensive liver damage. (TNG: "The Neutral Zone")
