Laurindo Almeida (2 September 1917–26 July 1995; age 77) was a multiple Grammy Award-winning Brazilian jazz guitarist who provided the backing guitars for the song "Beyond Antares", which can be heard in TOS: "The Conscience of the King". He received no credit for his work. [1]
