The Neural scan interface laser effects in TNG: "The Nth Degree"

Laser Media Rentals is a special effects company specialized in the use of lasers and their effects. The company received credit for providing their technique to the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "The Nth Degree" in 1991. The company worked close with Wildfire/L.A. to create the effects of the neural scan interface. Employees Mathew Hanlen and Daryl worked on this episode.

Laser Media Rentals also worked on the sports comedy Racquet (1979), Cheech and Chong's Next Movie (1980), Altered States (1980), Starman (1984), the television series MacGyver (1985), Showgirls (1995), Tank Girl (1995, starring Lori Petty and Malcolm McDowell), Batman & Robin (1997), and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001).
