The Lapeongical period was a period of history.

A Ventanan thimble from the early Lapeongical period was recovered by archaeologists and was later one of the many artifacts in Captain Jean-Luc Picard's ready room aboard the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "The Perfect Mate")
