They were a child of Commander Patrick Fickett, first officer of the USS Credence, and Ha'Ryl. They had a sibling named Na'el. In 3190, Krenn lost a parent when the Qowat Milat sister J'Vini murdered Commander Fickett. (DIS: "Choose to Live")
