The Kingdom of Denmark was a kingdom and realm whose territory primarily consisted of Denmark.
Beowulf was an ancient English epic poem from Earth that was set in 6th century Denmark. The poem was about a hero named Beowulf who fought a creature that was terrorizing the Kingdom and murdering its subjects. In 2371, USS Voyager's Emergency Medical Hologram The Doctor participated in a holo-novel program based on the Beowulf poem. The Doctor took on the role of a warrior to rid the Kingdom of Grendel.
