Kid Cudi (born 30 January 1984; age 41), real name Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and fashion designer. He recorded the promotional single "Heaven's Galaxy" as part of the Star Trek x Kid Cudi: Boldly Be collaborative campaign, as well as providing his voice and motion capture for the collaboration's Fortnite module and designing Star Trek apparel for the "Boldly Be" fashion line.

Mescudi inherited his love of Star Trek from his father during childhood, and said he had watched marathons of Star Trek: The Next Generation for hours with him until he became "hooked." [1]
