Kevin Aguirre is the Vice President of Operations and Senior Artist of Vital Distraction. [1] He is part of the Vital Distraction team providing pre-visualization art for Star Trek. He also worked on the film's teaser trailer with David Dozoretz, Jason Michael Hall, and his Vital Distraction partner, Chad Hofteig. [2]

As a member of Vital Distraction, Aguirre has worked on such films as Flight of the Phoenix, xXx: State of the Union, Eragon, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. He also worked on Mission: Impossible III, which, like Star Trek, was directed by J.J. Abrams and released by Paramount Pictures.

Aguirre led the pre-visualization team on the feature film remakes of Get Smart (featuring The Rock) and The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008).
