Kenfori system

The Kenfori system was a star system located between Federation and Klingon space. Centered on the Kenfori star, it contained the planet Kenfori and a massive dust belt.

The system was once part of the Federation and hosted an agricultural research facility, until it was invaded by the Klingons at the start of the Federation-Klingon War in 2256. After the war, both sides agreed by treaty to relinquish their claim. The mines in the area were cleared out, and the system placed in a restricted zone.

In 2261, the USS Enterprise entered the system to collect chimera blossoms. (SNW: "Shuttle to Kenfori")
