Kenda II was the inhabited second planet in its star system. This planet was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

Dr. Dalen Quaice was from this world.

In 2367, the USS Enterprise-D brought Quaice here after he retired from his post on Starbase 133. (TNG: "Remember Me")

This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.
The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 412 identified Kenda II as a Federation world.
In the Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"), Kenda II was listed as a Federation member in 2378.
