Julee Vadnais
Julee Vadnais (born 2 March 1983; age 42) [1] is an actress, dancer and model who was featured as the Orion woman in Star Trek Into Darkness. She received no credit for this appearance.
Vadnais was born in Clovis, Fresno County, California, studied Dramatic Arts at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California, and was taught by acting coaches such as Karen Hensel, Hope Alexander, and Alfred Molina. She worked as a dancer at the Playhouse Nightclub on the Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles and as a barkeeper. In December 2012 she moved to Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington. [2] [3]
Cast as a background actress through Central Casting and Headquarters Casting, Vadnais appeared in episodes of Tori & Dean: Storibook Weddings (2011), The Ringer, 90210, Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy, CSI: Crime Scene Investigations, and How I Met Your Mother, commercials for T-Mobile and Carmax, and stage plays such as "Godspell", "Southern Girls", and "Othello". Prior to her work on Star Trek, Vadnais was featured as a teacher in an episode of Criminal Minds (2012, with John Fleck) and as a zombie in the Castle episode "Undead Again" (2012). She was also featured in the 2013 drama The Fortune Theory, with fellow Into Darkness actress Germany Kent, and the romantic comedy In Your Eyes (2014).
