John L. Flynn (born 6 September 1954; age 70) is an American psychologist, author, and screenwriter who has written several books about science-fiction, movies, and pop culture.
In 2020, he wrote the biography of Star Trek guest performer Angelique Pettyjohn, The Sci-Fi Siren Who Dared Love Elvis and Other Stars.
Early in his writing career he contributed pieces to several science-fiction magazines, including Starlog and Enterprise Incidents. He received Hugo Award nominations in the category of "Best Fan Writer" in 2002, 2003, and 2004. [1][2][3]
