Jesse James Keitel (born 26 June 1993; age 32) is an actress, writer, and artist who played Captain Angel in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds first season episode "The Serene Squall". She also appeared in that episode's aftershow where she interviewed costume designer Bernadette Croft.

Keitel identifies as trans and non-binary and uses the pronouns "she/her". She is best known for her lead role in the crime series Big Sky, which is the first openly transgender regular character played by a transgender performer in American television.
