Jefferson

Jefferson is a small town in west-central Iowa, on Earth. The town is the county seat for Greene County.

In late 2256, a classified Starfleet facility in Jefferson had begun building spore drive propulsion system units. The production was based on schematics released by Lieutenant Paul Stamets after the first successful jump of the spore drive aboard the USS Discovery. (DIS: "Choose Your Pain")
