Jeff Ogg
Jeff Ogg is a carpenter, prop maker, and special effects artist and a co-owner of KOW FX, with Jeff Khachadoorian and Andrew Weder. As supervisor of KOW FX's prop shop, Ogg oversaw the building of props for 2009's Star Trek.
Ogg and Khachardoorian have collaborated on projects since the 1996 comedy Jingle All the Way and would later man the propshop together in films such as Inspector Gadget (featuring René Auberjonois and Andy Dick). Ogg has since served as KOW FX's propshop foreman on such films as Planet of the Apes (2001, featuring Erick Avari, Anne Elizabeth Ramsay, Freda Foh Shen, Cary-Hiroyuki, and David Warner), The Island (2005, written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and featuring Ethan Phillips), and Transformers (2007, also written by Kurtzman and Orci).
Khachadoorian's other film work includes prop making and carpentry on such films as Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997), Air Force One (1997), Starship Troopers (1997, featuring Dina Meyer), Armageddon (co-written by J.J. Abrams), Cast Away (2000), and American Wedding – all alongside Khachadoorian. As part of KOW FX, he has done special effects work on such films as Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), Constantine (2005), and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007).
