Jeff Greenwald (born 6 March 1954; age 71) is a travel writer, journalist, activist, and photographer who wrote Future Perfect: How Star Trek Conquered Planet Earth.
He is the author of several books inspired by his worldwide travels including Shopping for Buddhas and The Size of the World. In 2003, he co-founded Ethical Traveler, a nonprofit organization founded to empower travelers to use the economic impact of tourism to protect Human rights and the environment. After being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, he launched a Substack newsletter sharing his reflections on travel, art, environmentalism, and disease.
