Jason A. Kaufman is a psychologist and professor who, with Aaron M. Peterson, is the co-author of Leadership in Star Trek.

He is a faculty member of the College of Education of University of Minnesota, Mankato, where he also serves as the director of its Institutional Review Board. His research interests include mind-body and nature-based interventions, Human functioning, and leadership.
