Janelle James (born 23 September 1979; age 45) is an actress and comedian who voiced Katrot in the Star Trek: Lower Decks fourth season episode "Empathological Fallacies".

She is best known for her role as Ava Coleman in the ABC comedy series Abbott Elementary (2021-).
