Jamie Grove is a painter and make-up artist who worked as a prosthetic painter for the Proteus Make-up FX Team on the production of Star Trek. While in the employ of Glenn Hetrick's Alchemy Studios, Grove also worked on the Orion makeup featured in the third season of Star Trek: Discovery, though he did not receive any credit for it. Career

Grove was a painter on The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) and Paramount Pictures' War of the Worlds (2005) and Transformers (2007, written by Star Trek's Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman).

He was also a creature effects painter on Feast (2005), developed as a part of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's Project Greenlight program. Grove worked with makeup effects artist Richard Redlefsen. His other makeup credits include Incubus (2005) and the video game adaptation of Spider-Man 3.
