The song was played in the holographic recreation of the Bourbon Street Barn in 2364. (TNG: "11001001")

Beverly Crusher chose the song for her dancing lesson with Data in 2367 when he wanted to learn to dance for Keiko Ishikawa and Miles O'Brien's wedding. (TNG: "Data's Day")

"Isn't It Romantic?" is from the musical Love Me Tonight by the songwriting team of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart.
